The Word Whips Writing Group meets every second Tuesday of each month. Geared to people working on their creative writing skills, these workshops present small groups with writing 'prompts'. Each writer has a limited time to compose a piece in reaction to the prompt. When completed, each is given the chance to share their work, or not, as they prefer.
These informal workshops give developing writers a chance to practice their skills in a challenging way as well as to benefit from listening to how other writers approach similar challenges.
It may not help your writing, but you will have a good time!
